Why practice Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient method, developed and refined over thousands of years, which aims to help develop both the mental and physical states of any practitioner, regardless of age or ability. The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit.
Each posture is specifically designed to not only stretch the entire body, strengthen and tone the muscles of the body, but also to massage the internal organs of the body, whilst increasing lung capacity through breathing exercises and strengthening the organs.
Regular practice will lead to the body working more efficiently.
There are many different styles of yoga, no matter which style you practice Yoga is about spending time with you and it will quite simply make you feel physically, spiritually and emotionally better.
All classes must be booked in advance
beginners class Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm
mixed level class Fridays 6:30-7:45pm
£8 pay as you go or £40 for a six class pass
